KENT CONFERENCE HELD FOR 7TH YEAR
Before UK social distancing measures had been put in place, the Insurance Institutes of Mid Kent and Royal Tunbridge Wells successfully hosted the Kent Conference for its seventh consecutive year.
More than 80 members attended this year’s annual event, welcoming a mix of speakers from the broker, insurer and loss adjustment markets, as well as views from local government.
Ray Johnson, conference chairman, commented: “The conference theme “Discover the Difference for Tomorrow” was certainly relevant. Not only did we cover a broad range of topics and issues affecting the sector, we naturally covered the coronavirus which was gaining momentum within the media on the day with proposed lockdowns being considered.
“Next year’s event is scheduled for Tuesday 9 March 2021.
