The Folkestone, Canterbury & East Kent Institute recently enjoyed an engaging talk by Katharine Jones, who explained the shift of learning from the training room to the workplace, by providing practical guidance on how to get the best out of learning and to implement it within our day-to-day lives.

Part of the session involved some activities, which was refreshing and most helpful to focus the mind on being able to improve on things, particularly in our daily lives or ambitions.

President Heather Sutherland commented: “It was so nice to see everyone working together in teams and it is surprising what can be achieved if you are prepared to give a little time and plan the way forward. Katharine’s talk was most engaging and helpful to all those who attended.”
