Following the success of previous programmes, several large insurers have joined Inclusivity Partners’ third Cross-Market Insurance Returners Programme, endorsing it as an important initiative to help bridge the gender gap across the sector and create inclusive workplaces.
These firms include Zurich, AXA XL, Lockton, Aon, Lloyd’s of London, WTW, Chaucer, AIG UK, Talbot, Axis, DUAL and Apollo Underwriting. They have all committed to provide employment opportunities for a minimum of six months to programme participants, some of whom have been out of the workforce for up to 15 years.
Inclusivity’s first programme in 2021 – as featured in The Journal – achieved a 92% retention rate.
Inclusivity matches selected returners with the participating organisations, who have also pledged to offer upskilling and mentoring, recognising that career-break returners have a better chance of fulfilling their potential with a high level of tailored support.
