The Insurance Museum – a campaign supported by the CII – has announced plans to launch a virtual museum, aimed at telling the story of the history of insurance to inspire audiences from both inside and outside the profession.
The initiative is committed to opening a physical museum in the heart of the City of London, but before that can be done, a series of virtual galleries will be launched.
Guided tours will include 3D photography of the items in the collection, with each theme and object brought to life with motion graphics, narration, video and games.
Insurance professionals will also earn CPD points by visiting the virtual gallery.
The Fire Insurance Gallery will be the first to open this year, with other galleries to follow including: motor, Lloyd’s of London, brokers, marine, life and health protection, as well as technology and innovation.
If your company would like to become the named sponsor of a gallery, or sponsor a room, theme, game, or other element within it, please email: FireGallerySponsor@insurancemuseum.uk
