Nottingham Insurance Institute’s renowned InsurED multi-session education conference has been confirmed for Wednesday 29 September 2021.

The 2021 edition will be the ninth InsurED and also a first as it is taking place virtually this year, making the day accessible to members across the wider local institute network. The event is structured to allow each delegate to build a training day for themselves, tailored to their requirements with presentations for both financial services and general insurance delegates.

InsurED aims to cover technical, legal and business skills subjects and this year it is hoped a virtual tour of Lloyd’s will be included as part of the day. There will also be the opportunity to hear from keynote speakers – which are an established feature of the event – one from the profession and one ‘inspirational’ speaker. Details will be revealed shortly through the Nottingham website.

Confirmed session topics to date include: liquidation and dissolved companies; understanding advice; vulnerable customers; travel insurance; cyber claims; flood claims; electric cars; and mental health.

Presenters so far include: Adam Loveitt of Insolvency Risk Services; Katie Carney of Browne Jacobson; Dipesh Patel of JL Underwriting; Emma Pickering of Premium Credit; Branko Bjelobaba; and Jeff Heasman.

There will also be a chance for networking, with meeting rooms available for one-to-one chats and access to insurers.
