A quarter of insurance professionals and financial advisers are unsure whether their employer offers them any support if they need to look after loved ones.
As Carers Week took place in June, a social media poll of the 548 Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Finance Society members showed two thirds know their employer supports employees with caring responsibilities.
The survey also showed almost one in 10 felt their employer failed to offer help to colleagues who were struggling to juggle their paid work with looking after loved ones.
