Aviva is the latest insurer to commit to the Insuring Women’s Futures (IWF) pledges and to take action to improve female financial resilience.
The insurance giant signed up to both pledges, launched as part of the IWF manifesto.
The ‘Financial Flexible Working’ pledge commits firms to helping their colleagues to understand and manage the long-term financial implications of flexible working.
The ‘Inclusive Customer Financial Lives’ pledge encourages businesses to adopt an inclusive ‘whole customer’ approach and to encourage consumers to consider the impact their decisions have on their finances.

Lindsey Rix, CEO of UK savings and retirement at Aviva, said: “It is crucial both for society and for our business that our products and solutions are inclusive of all customers and also adaptable to all life circumstances.”
