The London Institute hosted virtual yoga sessions during June and July to provide members with some space and time to focus on mental health and wellbeing.
More than 300 members attended the two Zoom sessions, which were suitable for all levels of yogis.
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.
There is some evidence that regular yoga practise is beneficial for people with high blood pressure, heart disease, aches, pains,, depression and stress.
