During the past few months, the local institutes in Anglia have been raising funds for research into childhood brain tumours in loving memory of Lizzie, the daughter of a CII council member at the Ipswich institute, who sadly passed away a week before her 10th birthday.
Lizzie was an avid baker, so in support of this, the institutes have held bake sales, afternoon teas and prize draws, along with quiz nights and virtual runs.
To date, the charity has raised more than £290,000.
