Ecclesiastical staff have raised more than £1,000 for a Gloucestershire charity that provides care and support for people with life-limiting conditions and their families.

On 1 July, members of the business payments team set out on a 24-mile sponsored circular walk along the Glevum Way, which started at Beaufort House -- the Gloucester headquarters of the specialist insurer. Ecclesiastical will match-fund the total amount raised, as it does all staff fundraising. The company also gives a personal grant to all of its employees -- a £125 donation to give to a cause close to their hearts -- and this is doubled if the staff member chooses to volunteer for the same charity.
