Allianz's Excellence in Claims (EiC) programme is celebrating its 10-year anniversary since the initiative was accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2007.

Some 7,300 Allianz employees have taken the opportunity to develop their skills through the EiC programme, which represents a total of 50,000 hours of study and training. The main objective of the EiC programme remains the same as it did 10 years ago -- to provide a comprehensive induction and training programme for members of the Allianz claims team, irrespective of their position or experience.

Allianz's chief claims officer, Graham Gibson, said: "Working in an industry that is constantly evolving means it's essential to keep up with the pace of change through developing the relevant skills and knowledge. We will continue to invest in the personal and professional development of our employees. Over the past 10 years, the programme has been very well received and the high volume of testimonials is testament to its success."
