Zurich held its Women's Innovation Network event, with the CII as sponsor and host, at the CII Great Hall in London.

Now a key date in the calendar, the Women's Innovation Network is aimed at creating insights into business success while providing networking opportunities with accomplished colleagues and industry experts.

The day was a huge success, with more than 120 delegates from around the profession in attendance. Rose St Louis of Zurich opened the event, followed by Sian Fisher, CII chief executive officer, who gave insight and overview on the Insuring Women's Futures initiative.

Later, there was discussion with Tulsi Naidu, Anne Torry and Conor Brennan of Zurich on the importance of diversity and driving positive change in insurance, before Insurance Supper Club chief executive Barbara Schonhofer spoke to guests about 'personal branding' and the power of networking.

The event concluded with a thought-provoking Q&A on key diversity issues with a panel that included Pauline Miller of Lloyd's of London and Vinay Kapoor
of BNP Paribas Group.
