Allianz Insurance has been awarded Chartered insurer status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This means that Allianz is the largest organisation in the UK insurance industry to hold Chartered status.

The CII only awards Chartered status to organisations that show a commitment to the technical excellence of its workforce. Allianz believes Chartered status is an important point of differentiation for the business because it sends out a strong message to customers, brokers and corporate partners that Allianz delivers the highest standards of expertise and professionalism.

Allianz Insurance CEO Jon Dye, said: "It's an honour to be recognised in this way by the world's largest professional body. This achievement reflects our long-term commitment to the training and development of our people and the importance of technical excellence and the highest ethical standards, right across the business."

CII chief executive officer Sian Fisher added: "By demonstrating an ongoing commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and learning, Allianz is a worthy recipient of the CII's chartered status and I offer my congratulations to the entire Allianz team."
