Author Tony Boobier has published a new book to help businesses to stay competitive and to integrate data and analytics into every aspect of their organisation.
Analytics for Insurance: The Real Business of Big Data explores the subjects of business intelligence, predictive and cognitive analytics across all insurance business areas, including underwriting, claims and the supply chain. It also deals with implementation issues and cultural change.
Mr Boobier says: "I have written it in a independent capacity and therefore it is supplier agnostic. It's meant to help insurance practitioners understand technology and technologists to understand insurance."
The Journal is giving away three copies of the book to some lucky readers. Please email: michelle.worvell@cii.co.uk to be in with a chance of winning.
