The combined attention of the insurance industry will turn to Manchester on 11-12 May when the British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA) Conference 2016 takes residence at Manchester Central.

The event offers anyone working in insurance two of days of meetings, networking, conference presentations and the chance to visit some 180 different companies in the exhibition hall.

The good news for brokers authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority* (FCA) is that entrance to the exhibition is free and the complimentary ticket includes access to the increasingly popular fringe programme. These sessions were introduced several years ago and are now becoming a valuable part of the BIBA experience, particularly for those on an exhibition-only ticket.

This year, 10 companies are making fringe presentations across the two days on some meaty subjects of real interest to brokers.
You can find more details at: www.biba2016.co.uk/fringe.htm

For those with a full conference ticket (free for BIBA members; non-BIBA member brokers can purchase at a reduced fee), there is a range of sessions to look forward to including panel debates on undoubtedly the two most topical subjects of the moment -- the forthcoming European Union referendum and the ever-changing threats the UK faces from terrorism.

So whether you are a broker, an insurer or work in any insurance-related field, BIBA 2016 has something for everyone.

More details on BIBA 2016 can be found at: www.biba2016.co.uk

*Applies to general insurance brokers and intermediaries authorised and regulated by the FCA, who sell the product(s) of one or more insurance providers.
