The Insurance Institute of Liverpool has recently launched the Caroline Murphy Award, created in conjunction with broker Griffiths & Armour (G&A) to recognise outstanding contributions to local communities and charities or through volunteering work.
Caroline Murphy was a consummate professional with a can-do ‘glass half full’ attitude throughout her career and life. She began her career in insurance by joining G&A in 1992, where she would eventually be promoted to associate director and lead the firm’s private clients team.
Ms Murphy’s professionalism was second to none and what made her stand out from the crowd was her zest for life and her incredible, giving personality. Ms Murphy’s husband and father of their two sons Liam and Luke, Dominic Murphy, said: “This award is being introduced to celebrate the people in our industry who espouse the virtues that Caz demonstrated every day, people who put others before themselves to live their lives to the fullest. The annual award will be our chance as an institute to recognise these people individually and celebrate their great achievements with others.”
