The Insurance Institute of Guildford ran its first face-to-face event since the Covid-19 pandemic by teaming up with the Guildford Insurance Golf Society to run their annual charity golf day at Puttenham Golf Club.
Some 80 players made up 20 teams at the September event, including groups from a variety of insurance and non-insurance backgrounds, and even a team from the institute’s charity partner, Jigsaw Trust, who went home with the runner-up prize (pictured).
The golf was followed by a dinner, raffle, charity auction and prizegiving. A big thank you to everyone who helped support the event with prizes and donations, and a special thank you to Fiona Salmon and Ralph Horne for organising.
The fantastic generosity of our players meant we raised more than £6,000, which was shared between Jigsaw Trust and the British Heart Foundation.
