The Covid-19 pandemic is giving rise to new types of scam activity. The CII’s Personal Finance Society (PFS) is therefore urging consumers to be vigilant for scams that could appear during the virus outbreak period.

Scammers are sophisticated, opportunistic and will try to get personal details or money from victims in many ways. To support members and the community, the PFS has developed a coronavirus scams flyer to highlights six warning signs that consumers should be particularly vigilant about.
