THE FCA’S MISSION

The FCA has launched a public consultation on its mission, with the aim of generating a set of guiding principles for its future strategy which clarify objectives set by Parliament. In a video presentation accompanying the consultation document (which can be viewed at http://play.buto.tv/ty9dD), Andrew Bailey, the FCA Chief Executive, stressed that these principles will provide a framework for the prioritisation of work by the regulator, and would only succeed with stakeholder engagement.

You can give your views about the FCA’s approach to regulating UK financial services, and any other questions you believe the mission should address by responding to bit.ly/2gHZsAf or by emailing fcamission@fca.org.uk by 26 January 2017.
