IIL London’s Young Members’ Ball

IIL London’s Young Members’ Ball

The Insurance Institute of London’s (IIL) young members’ committee (YMC) welcomed more than 930 guests at its highly anticipated Winter Ball – making it a sellout and the biggest ever
IIL event.

Sponsored by Aon UK, Ariel Re, IDEX Consulting, IPS Group, JLT Specialty, Marsh and Slipcase.com, the spectacular Old Billingsgate provided the setting for the YMC’s ‘mash up’ event, which kicked off with a sensational performance by DJ-drummer AFISHAL, who lit up the stage using a high-tech drumming rig and ‘ninja’ fire dancers. Guests were also treated to a high octane performance by a gravity-defying aerial straps duo.

The evening continued with three-course dinner accompanied by live music from Sway Band, photo booths and a DJ. Throughout the night, guests shared their photos and comments via the live Twitterwall.
