Expand and deliver
This month we’d like to tell you about the fantastic collection of ebook titles available to members as well as our range of subject gateway updates.
1,300 EBOOKS AND COUNTING
The CII ever-expanding collection of ebooks has reached more than 1,300 titles. Covering all subjects relating to financial services, insurance and management topics, you can read them online or download to your preferred mobile device to read offline. Ebooks are available through Discovery, an online search tool that provides a Google-like search box allowing you to search for books, eBooks, electronic articles, reports and other resources contained in many of the library’s collections.
Further details on how to access and use Discovery can be found at: www.cii.co.uk/discovery
Recent additions to the collection cover a wide range of topics, including political risk, conduct risk, construction insurance, marine insurance and for those with an interest in history, insurance in Elizabethan England. View the recent additions at: www.cii.co.uk/additions
UPDATED SUBJECT GATEWAYS
Since the recent cyber attack on the NHS, we have received an increased number of enquiries on this subject, so we have updated the related subject gateway. Other updates include the insurance law and regulation, equality and diversity, and construction insurance subject gateways. Each one provides a list of resources intended to aid you in finding content to support your specific research and learning needs. They offer links to eBooks, online lectures, articles and reports, as well as references to hardcopy materials held in the CII library.

Knowledge Services houses a collection of online technical and market information – supplemented by a physical London-based library – which supports and informs CII members, both those working in the industry and those who are undertaking their professional qualifications.
